ISHMAEL THE FATHER OF MUHAMMAD (PBUH).
answer to the shamoun :-

I have read both the Bible and the Qur`an and i found in both scriptures, where its proved that Ishmael is the Father of Muhammad (pbuh), Please go through the versus below which is been taken from the Bible and which proves you completely wrong.
These verses speaks about how great is Ishmael`s name and his nation :-
1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.
2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.
3) In Genesis, ch. 21. Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become "a great nation" especially in Genesis 21:13, 18.
4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.
5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham's family tree was now fullfilled. But are there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?
and you will find kedar the son of Ishmael :-
Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on earth." Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.
Kedar: "...A tribe descended from Ishmael (Gen.25.13)... The people were Pliny's Cedrai, and from their tribe Mohammed ultimately arose."
Davis Dictionary of the Bible, 1980 (Sponsored by the Board of Christian Education of the Presbyterian Church)
Kedar:"...Of the Ishmaelite tribes, Kedar must have been one of the most important, and thus in later times the name came to be applied to all the wild tribes of the desert. It is through Kedar (Arab, Keidar) that Muslim genealogists trace the descent of Mohammed from Ishmael."
International Standard Bible Encyclopedia
Kedar: (black): Second son of Ishmael (Gen. 25:13)... Mohammed traces his lineage to Abraham through the celebrated Koreish tribe, which sprang from Kedar. The Arabs in the Hejaz are called Beni Harb (men of war), and are Ishmaelites as of old, from their beginning.
Smith's Bible Dictionary
AND YOU WILL FIND ARAB IN THE BIBLE :-
THE AWAITED PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM ARABIA
Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).
Indeed the King James version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name of Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6.
MUHAMMAD'S MIGRATION FROM MECCA TO MEDINA:
PROPHECIED IN THE BIBLE?
Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one (coming) from Paran. That holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad.
The Arabs would inhabit the Arabian peninsula, (the wilderness of Paran, Genesis 21:21 Faran in Arabic).
Not only are their origins of the same source, but the Arabs and Jews throughout the course of time would share a history together in the biblical and even post-Biblical era.

Whereupon there was a very sore battle; but Judas' side by the help of God got the victory; so that the Nomads of Arabia, being overcome, besought Judas for peace, promising both to give him cattle, and to pleasure him otherwise.
2 Maccabees 12:11
Basically, where ever you see Arabs, Arabians, Kedar, Ishmaelites, Hagarenes is sure proof it is referring to Arabs. Muslims, Christians and Jews will agree.
But now there is a new game, the Bible is very infamous in having gone through innumerable revisions. The verses quoted above are from the King James Version. In the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), in many parts of the Bible where "Arabia" occurs, they have replaced it with "Desert Plain". And "Arab" has been replaced with "Nomad". Why is this so?, the Semitic languages of Hebrew and Arabic are rich and full of terms to distinguish Arab from Nomad, and Arabia from desert plain. There is no way the Bible revisers could have overlooked this factor. It wouldn't be surprising if one of these revisers attempted to argue that they more or less mean the same thing.
And there is probably truth in that; but how effective is Nomad when used as against Arab (incidentally, the word used in the Hebrew Bible is ,arabiy, pronounced "ar-aw-bee" or Arbiy ("ar-bee"), meaning Arab. The ulterior motive must be questioned here; it's possible after decades of effective Muslim preaching of Biblical prophecies fulfilling the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The new age of Bible scholars saw it fit to completely dismember the mention of Arabs and Arabia from their "book of God". Exterminating an entire race from their Bible in order to distance their scriptures from the great son of Arabia, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself. All these little subtle changes don't make anyone a victor, those who initiated it. Are the big losers, in this world as well as the hereafter. As Allah warns:
Ye People of the Book! (Jews and Christians) Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?
Sura Al-Imran 3.071
This composition will help to serve the many papers I'am going to put up soon. This includes:
PARAN AND SEIR: In Sinai or Arabia
ISHMAEL: Was to be sacrificed according to Genesis
Makka: A city enshrined in history
GOD SAID ISHMAEL THE FATHER OF MUHAMMAD (PBUH)
TRANSLATION OF THE HOLY QUR`AN :-
2:124 And [remember this:] when his Sustainer tried Abraham by [His] commandments and the latter fulfilled them, [100] He said: "Behold, I shall make thee a leader of men. "Abraham asked: "And [wilt Thou make leaders] of my offspring as well? "[God] answered: "My covenant does not embrace the evildoers." [101]
2:125 AND LO! We made the Temple a goal to which people might repair again and again, and a sanctuary: [102] take then, the place whereon Abraham once stood as your place of prayer." [103] And thus did We command Abraham and Ishmael: "Purify My Temple for those who will walk around it, [104] and those who will abide near it in meditation, and those who will bow down and prostrate themselves [in prayer]."
2:126 And, lo, Abraham prayed: "O my Sustainer! Make this a land secure, and grant its people fruitful sustenance - such of them as believe in God and the Last Day." [God] answered: "And whoever shall deny the truth, him will I let enjoy himself for a short while -but in the end I shall drive him to suffering through fire: and how vile a journey's end!"
2:127 And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the Temple , [they prayed:] "O our Sustainer! Accept Thou this from us: for, verily, Thou alone art all-hearing, all-knowing!
2:128 "O our Sustainer! Make us surrender ourselves unto Thee, and make out of our offspring [105] a community that shall surrender itself unto Thee, and show us our ways of worship, and accept our repentance: for, verily, Thou alone art the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace!
2:129 "O our Sustainer! Raise up from the midst of our off spring [106] an apostle from among themselves, who shall convey unto them Thy messages, and impart unto them revelation as well as wisdom, and cause them to grow in purity: for, verily, Thou alone art almighty, truly wise!"
2:130 And who, unless he be weak of mind, would want to abandon Abraham's creed, seeing that We have indeed raised him high in this world, and that, verily, in the life to come he shall be among the righteous?
2:131 When his Sustainer said to him, "Surrender thyself unto Me!" - he answered, "I have surrendered myself unto [Thee,] the Sustainer of all the worlds."
CLEARE ! THE ISHMAEL (PBUH) FATHER OF MUHAMMAD (PBUH) !
But this story of ishmael and Ibrahim is not mentioned in the bible because according to the Bible :-
Jeremiah 8:8 (New International Version)
8 " 'How can you say, "We are wise,
for we have the law of the LORD,"
when actually the lying pen of the scribes
has handled it falsely?
The Bible is corrupted book and many books mentioned in the Bible by Name but in the Bible these books not available today !
